Telstra Plus

To celebrate the launch of the new Telstra Plus movie offer, Telstra Plus members have the chance to win movie tickets, popcorn vouchers or Telstra Plus points. To enter, join or sign in to Telstra Plus before 3pm AEDT 18 November 2022, confirm your contact details on the competition page, and choose from the popcorn pieces on screen to see if you're a winner.

Entry to the promotion is open to all Australian Residents who are 18 years of age or older and are Telstra Plus members. Excludes enterprise and corporate accounts. Not available to Telstra employees who work with the Telstra Plus program and their agents, contractors and other companies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Vouchers for movie tickets and popcorn/soft drink combos can be used at any Event Cinemas or Village Cinemas nationwide.

If you win Telstra Plus points, they will be bestowed to your account within 14 days.

Your voucher will be sent to you via email so please check your inbox and the spam and bin folders. You may also need to check other default folders that your email application may use. For example, ‘Promotions’ or ‘Social’ folders.

You can also view your prize details by returning to the competition win page. Follow the link in the 'Offers and promotions' section at the bottom of the Telstra Plus home page.

Vouchers for movie tickets can be used online or in-cinema. Vouchers for food and beverage can be redeemed in-cinema only. If redeeming your voucher in cinema, please present the email you received with your voucher code and pin.

Yes. Please ensure you have signed in to Telstra Plus and then proceed to Event Cinemas or Village Cinemas via the Telstra Plus tickets page. You’ll be able to redeem your voucher on the Event Cinemas or Village Cinemas website and purchase additional tickets within the same transaction. Note, you must be a member of Cinebuzz Rewards or Vrewards to access discounted Telstra Plus tickets. Your voucher will be valid until 31 October 2023.

Telstra Plus:

You must be over 18 and have an eligible service on a Telstra business and/or consumer account to join. Excludes Telstra enterprise or corporate accounts.

Points are earned on payment of Telstra bill or pre-paid recharge (excl. refunds, credits & late payment fees). Points expire 3 years from earning. Marketing opt-in required (preferences can be changed).

Telstra Plus discounted movie tickets

Telstra Plus members can access discounted movie tickets for standard adult, standard child, Gold Class Thursdays, V-Max, and 3D available online for Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Village Cinemas and Moonlight Cinemas in Australia. Members will also earn points when purchasing discounted tickets. Eligibility criteria apply.

Not valid for Boutique, Event Junior, V Junior movie marathons, special events and Alternate Content.

Tickets prices are as follows: Standard adult $13.50, standard child $11.50, Gold Class Thursdays $32, 3D $15.50, V-Max $16.50, Moonlight Cinema $13.50.

A peak time surcharge of $3 per ticket applies after 5pm on Saturdays and on public holidays.

Telstra Plus members earn 10 points per $1 on payments towards Telstra Plus discounted tickets purchased online (excludes surcharges). Credits and refunds excluded.

Using Telstra Plus points for movie tickets

Telstra Plus members can use their Telstra Plus points toward the purchase of discounted movie tickets for standard adult, standard child, Gold Class Thursdays, V-Max, and 3D, available online for Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Village Cinemas and Moonlight Cinemas in Australia. Eligibility criteria apply.

Not valid for Boutique, Event Junior, V Junior movie marathons, special events and Alternate Content.

A $1.50 online booking fee applies per ticket ($3.25 for Gold Class Thursdays) when using points to purchase tickets. Points can’t be used to pay for booking fees.
