Global award-winning electronic act The Prodigy will tour Australia in 2019 to celebrate the release of their new album ‘No Tourists’.

The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett, Maxim and Keith Flint are pioneers of the electronic genre, first emerging in the underground rave scene in the early 1990s, they have gone on to achieve worldwide recognition.

The Prodigy have earned titles such as "the premiere dance act for the alternative masses" and "the Godfathers of Rave" and remain one of the most successful electronic acts of all time.

They have sold an estimated 30 million records worldwide and have won numerous music awards during their career, including two Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Kerrang! Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards and two Grammy Award nominations.

During their illustrious career they have released six studio albums including 1994’s ‘Music For The Jilted Generation‘ and 1997’s ‘The Fast of The Land.’.

‘Need Some1’ was the pounding debut single from the new album, a banger that features a classic house diva vocal sample from Loleatta Holloway. This was followed by ‘Light Up The Sky’ a dubstep infused offering that illuminates the urgency and danger that has continually defined The Prodigy throughout their career.

Described as ‘one of the very best live acts in the world’ The Prodigy have been performing in Australia since TBA.  In 2015, they headlined the Future Music Festival and sold out a side show at Luna Park, they will be bringing their relentless energy and fusion of punk and techno back to Australia in early 2019 following a run of sold out shows in the UK and Europe.

The Prodigy will be supported by triple j unearthed EDM DJ, Enschway who after an extensive run of solo shows around the country most recently played on the national Listen Out festival.
