The way you’ve named your Smart Light Bulb or light group may be causing confusion.
Here’s a list of possible problems and how to fix them in the Google Home app.
- Do two Smart Light Bulbs have similar names?
Eg: ‘Living room light left’ and ‘Living room light right.’ Give them clearly different names like ‘Lounge light’ and ‘TV area light’.
- Is your Smart Light Bulb name similar or the same as a room name?
Rename the Smart Light Bulb without words from the room name.
- Does your Smart Light Bulb name include numbers or special characters?
Remove numbers and special characters from the name.
- Is your Smart Light Bulb connected to a lamp?
Add the word ‘light’ to the light bulb name.
