Google Home can’t tell the difference between Smart Power Plugs and Smart Light Bulbs. So when you say ‘Hey Google, turn off all of the lights’, your Smart Power Plugs will also turn off.

How can I stop devices or appliances turning off?

If you have devices that you don't want turned off:

  1. Don’t connect them to a Smart Power Plug.
  2. Set up rooms to control groups of plugs or lights separately.
