Mobile Enhanced SMS lets you receive SMS Delivery Reports, as well as send and receive media files – from one mobile to another.

These media files can include pictures, videos, ringtones, animations and other audio files.

If you're a Telstra Post-Paid mobile customer, the charge for each video or picture Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) you send, will appear under the Enhanced SMS section of your mobile bill with the Description 'Standard MMS'.

Is it the same as Premium SMS?

No, a Premium SMS is when you text 19x premium numbers to receive third party content to your device or participate in once-off competitions and TV voting.

How do I turn it off?
