If you don’t want to receive emails from a sender you can block them by following the steps in this article. It also explains how to unblock a sender if you change your mind.

To block a contact on Webmail:

  1. Go to Telstra Mail®
  2. Select Settings at the top right
  3. Select Mail on the left-hand menu
  4. Select Blocked Senders on the sub menu
  5. Type the email address you want to block in the pop-up screen
  6. Select Add

Good to know:

  • To remove the blocked contact from your address book, tick the box next to their email address then select Delete.

How to unblock a contact

  1. Go to Telstra Mail
  2. Select Settings at the top right
  3. Select Mail on the left-hand menu
  4. Select Blocked Senders on the sub menu
  5. Select the email you want to unblock
  6. Select Delete

How to block a sender in your inbox

  1. In your Inbox, tick the box next to the email from the sender you want to block
  2. Select the More menu
  3. Select Block Sender
