Update your browser to stay safe online

If you're seeing this message, you may need to update your browser.

Without the most up-to-date version of your browser, you may be more vulnerable to cybersecurity threats, such as viruses and ransomware.

You also may have problems viewing our latest site features, as Telstra's website does not support outdated browsers. Find out more about staying safe online.

Telstra Broadband Protect doesn’t keep individual records of any sites you visit when you’re using your home broadband.

However, if you activate the Social Network Protection feature of Broadband Protect, it keeps a record of potentially harmful activity and content on social networks, to help you protect your children while they’re online.

The Social Network Protection program retains the information for at least a month, so that we can send you monthly reports. Once a report is sent, the data is automatically deleted.

Is Telstra Broadband Protect a government internet filter?

No. Telstra Broadband Protect is not affiliated with any government-mandated filters.
