Yes. We recently upgraded selected bundles to include unlimited data allowances. If you’re on one of those bundles, you should have received an email, letter, SMS or a note on your bill telling you the good news!
The Telstra 24x7 My Account and Telstra 24x7® App should also show your unlimited data allowance.
Will I pay extra for this change in my data allowance?
No, we’re giving you unlimited data every month at no extra cost, you don’t have to do anything.
If I upgrade to a new plan, will I keep the unlimited data?
Your current data allowance is only associated with the plan you’re on now. If you upgrade to a new plan, you’ll receive the data allowance included in that plan.
Will I still get to take advantage of my 3 free data top-ups per calendar year?
No. If you have been upgraded to an unlimited plan, you no longer need 3 for free data top ups.
Have I been recontracted to a new term?
No, your plan term remains the same; you just get unlimited data on that plan.
How will this look on my bill?
- The data allowance on your bill will be updated to reflect the unlimited data.
- Even though you can enjoy unlimited data right now, it may not appear on your bill immediately.
- It will appear in Telstra 24x7 My Account and Telstra 24x7 App by the end of February 2018.
What if I already have a bonus data pack on my plan?
If your plan has gone ‘unlimited’, your bonus data pack will be removed and the unlimited data allowance will take its place.
