How do I request a payment extension in the Telstra 24x7® App?

If your bill is overdue and you need more time to pay it, you can request a payment extension via the Telstra 24x7® App.


Good to know: If your overdue amount is less than $50, you won’t need to arrange a payment extension and you won’t be charged a late payment fee.


Here’s how:

  1. Select the Bills tab and under account, you’ll find your current balance.

  2. On the top of the app, select request a payment extension and follow the prompts.
  3. Finally, tick the terms of the late payment fee to show you understand, select Accept and you’re done.


Good to know: If your overdue amount is $70 or more and your extension is approved, you may still be charged a late fee of $15, unless you’re eligible for a pensioner discount
