What is Business Lease Assure?
Business Lease Assure is a program that lets you upgrade your phone at any time during your plan.
It doesn’t matter what condition your phone is in. You just have to pay a replacement fee and take up a new 24-month eligible phone and mobile plan.
How much does it cost?
Business Lease Assure costs $10 per month on top of your plan.
Who can have Business Lease Assure?
New or existing mobile plan customers who take up a new Business Lease Mobile plan.
What are the replacement fees?
Business Lease AssureFees Fees Upgrade your phone in good working order $99 (or $0 after 18 months) Upgrade your phone at any time, regardless of damage $190 Return damaged phone at the end of your contract $190
Can I get Business Lease Assure at any time?
No. If you want Business Lease Assure, you have to add it on the day you purchase your plan.
Can I cancel Business Lease Assure at any time?
Yes. You can cancel Business Lease Assure whenever you like. But you can’t add it back to your existing plan. You can only add it to a new 24-month eligible plan.
How do I upgrade my phone with Business Lease Assure?
There are three ways you can upgrade your phone.
- Call 13 22 00
- Visit a Telstra store
- On the Telstra Small Business Lease webpage. For more information, see our article on upgrading your phone online.
When you upgrade your phone, you’ll be required to take up a new 24-month eligible phone and service plan.
How often can I upgrade my phone with Business Lease Assure?
You can use Business Lease Assure twice in each 12-month period starting from the purchase date of your eligible plan.
Do I need to replace my phone with the same one?
No, you can upgrade to any eligible phone.
What do I do with the phone at the end of the contract?
You must return your phone to us. If it’s damaged you’ll be charged a fee of $190.
Or you can choose to purchase the phone for Fair Market Value. We’ll let you know how much this is at the time.
