Managing user roles on the Telstra Apps Marketplace
What are User Access Levels?
User Access Levels allows you to do more than just add users. Create groups to align with your organisation's business units or functional teams. You can also assign marketplace specific roles to individuals to provide them with different levels of power - Company Admin, Billing Admin or User.
What access should I give my team?
There are three types of access levels a user can have on the marketplace.
1. Company Admin
The highest level of access & control an individual can have within a company. The individual who first establishes a Telstra Apps Marketplace company is automatically assigned this responsibility, as well as the Billing Admin responsibility. This user can invite the company's staff to join your marketplace as end-users. With this access a Company Admin can make application purchases, invite new users to a company, add new/change existing billing preferences and much more.
2. Billing Admin
The Billing Administrator manages a company's financial relationship. This user has confidential access to the company's billing information. The Billing Admin does not have any access to user data. Anyone with the Company Administrator user role is also assigned the Billing Administrator user role automatically, for the same company.
3. User
This is a basic (standard) level of access to the Telstra Apps Marketplace. Users cannot buy applications, but can request applications to be purchases (and assigned) via a Company Admin. Users do not have any visibility or control of any company settings, including company users or billing preferences.
