  • How do I customise my business phone settings?

    Here’s how to use CallConductor to choose the way your phone rings, and to change your voicemail settings.

    How to forward or divert calls to an alternative phone number?

    1. Login to CallConductor with the login details in the email we sent you
    2. From the ‘Business Sites’ tab: 
      • Select the site you wish to make the change to or set up by clicking on ‘Site’
      • Click the ‘Business Hours’ tab 
      • Select the ‘Forward/Divert’ option by clicking on the radio button

      • A list of phone numbers for calls to be forwarded to or diverted to will appear in the drop down box, select one of these phone numbers and click ‘Activate’
      • Note: you can also forward/divert calls outside of business hours, to do this, click on the ‘Afterhours & Holidays’ tab and follow the directions above.

    How do I stop incoming calls going to voicemail before I can answer?

    If you have a non-Telstra phone system:

    • Contact the provider’s IT support to check your phone set up.

    If you have Telstra analogue or IP phones:

    1. Login to CallConductor with the login details in the email we sent you
    2. Select the user you want to make the change to
    3. Select the ‘Incoming calls’ section
    4. Use the drop-down field to set the number of rings before calls go to voicemail
    5. Scroll to the bottom and select ‘Save all changes’
    6. You can also use this page to:
      • Forward calls to any other landline or mobile phone
      • Give a ‘Call Waiting’ beep sound
      • Set the ring to time out

    How do I set up simultaneous rings on my phones?

    If you have a non-Telstra phone system:

    • Contact the provider’s IT support to change your phone set up.

    If you have Telstra analogue or IP phones:

    1. Login to CallConductor
    2. Select the ‘User Management’ tab
    3. Select the user you want to make the change to
    4. Select the ‘Incoming calls’ section
    5. Tick the box ‘When my work phone…’
    6. Click ‘Select a number’ to add the other user you want to ring simultaneously
    7. Scroll to the bottom and select ‘Save all changes’.

    How do I set up sequential rings on my office phones?

    You can set up your office phones so if you don’t answer, the call automatically goes to another user, and so on to another user…

    1. Login to CallConductor
    2. Select the ‘User Management’ tab
    3. Select Main Business Number
    4. After ‘When my line is busy, send my calls to’ select the hyperlink
    5. In the pop-up, select the user you want to ring next
    6. Repeat Step 5 for every user you want to ring
    7. After ‘When I don’t answer, send my calls to’ select the hyperlink
    8. In the pop-up, select which user you want to ring next
    9. Repeat Step 8 for every user you want to ring

    We recommend

    • You turn off call waiting for every user in the sequence
    • You set calls to go Voicemail for the last user in the sequence
