How do I change the ringtone on the phone?
- If you're using a SPA525G/SPA525G2 IP Phone
- If you're using a 504 / 502 IP Phone
- If you're using a Panasonic TGP500 DECT Phone
If you're using a SPA525G/SPA525G2 IP Phone
Step 1. Press the Setup button on the IP phone to bring up the Information and Settings.
Step 2. Scroll up and down with the navigation keys to select User Preferences. Press Select to bring up User Preferences.
Step 3. Scroll up and down with the navigation keys to select Ring Settings. Press Select to bring up Ring Tone .
Step 4. Scroll up and down with the navigation keys to select the Default Ring or to assign a ring tone to a specific extension. Press Select to choose a ring tone.
Note: Changing the default will change the ring tone for every extension that wasn't manually assigned one.
Step 5. Scroll up and down with the navigation keys to select a tone. Press Play to listen to tyour selection. Press Select to choose that tone.
If you're using a 504 / 502 IP Phone
Step 1: Press the Setup button.
Step 2: Select Ring Tone.
Step 3: Choose the extension for which to choose a ringtone and press change.
Step 4: Scroll through the ring tones and press to play the highlighted ringtone. Press SELECT to choose the highlighted ringtone for that extension.
If you're using a Panasonic TGP500 DECT Phone
Step 1: Access the handset's menu by pressing the MENU/SELECT button on the handset
Step 2: Scroll to the Ringer Tones option.
Step 3: Choose one of four ringers and five melodies for the handset's main tone. As you highlight each tone, the phone will play a sample. When you hear the tone you want, press MENU/SELECT.
