Information about the service

Microsoft Operator Connect with Telstra is part of the Adaptive Collaboration suite of products.

A Microsoft Operator Connect calling plan enables Microsoft Teams users to make and receive voice calls with other telephone and mobile phone users.. A customer can choose a subscription with Individual Line or Shared Line plans. One plan type per subscription.

Customers must also have the required Microsoft 365 licences for each Microsoft Teams user, as determined by Microsoft.

The Microsoft Operator Connect service is applicable only to End Users who are based in Australia. In our reasonable discretion, end users who are based in Australia may use the Service overseas for short periods (for instance, an overseas trip).  The performance of the Service may be impacted when it is accessed via the Internet overseas or any overseas carrier network.

What's not included

An underlying inetrnet access service or Telstra IP-VPN service.  Calls from your service other than the Operator Connect order on any compatible device with Telstra Connect. Simply register and log in at https://connectapp.telstra.com.

The Telstra Connect app is also available for download on Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS).

How can I get more information about my order and services?

Track your Adaptive Collaboration - Microsoft Operator Connect order on any compatible
device with Telstra Connect. Simply register and log in at https://connectapp.telstra.com.
The Telstra Connect app is also available for  download on Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS).

Service limitations

During a local power failure, you will not be able to use your service for calls including Emergency '000' or alarm services. As an IP Telephony service, voice calls will be impacted by any power failure that causes local data  connectivity to fail.  Capacity for concurrent calls at a site using the Microsoft Operator Connect service is limited to the available bandwidth at that site.

Manage your service online

Your Microsoft Operator Connect service comes with access to the Telstra Adaptive Collaboration Management portal. It will enable you or a member of your team to perform phone number management whenever you need it.

Other information

Voice quality considerations We do not guarantee that the call quality on calls made through your Microsoft Operator Connect service will meet or exceed a certain level. We recommend that your underlying internet access service provides sufficient bandwidth to support all your voice line traffic in each direction in order to ensure your service voice quality (to be clarified)

Early Termination Charges (ETCs)

If you cancel your service, you will not be charged an Early Termination Charge (ETC). 

Minimum term

Microsoft Operator Connect is available on a month-to-month basis with no additional minimum service term commitment.
