There are a range of government concession and rebate options available. If you meet the relevant eligibility criteria(s), you may qualify for assistance with your electricity bills.
New South Wales
The Energy NSW site provides concession information translated into community languages. When you visit the Energy Saver NSW site, select your language from the Language dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Energy NSW site to translate the Energy NSW page into the following community languages:

How to apply |
Applications for the electricity concession can only be made through the SA Health renal units. To apply for the concession you will need to fill out a Dialysis concession application form (DOC 340KB) and a Vendor Creation/Amendment form. Health sites are required to have hard copies of the forms available for eligible patients to complete on request. The Dialysis Concession Application form must be signed and approved by a SA Health practitioner to verify the patient receives such treatment at home. |

Most continuous positive airways pressure (CPAP) machines do not meet the 1,880 kilowatt hour threshold. *Note – Telstra is not a water retailer and so it is not possible to apply for this rebate through Telstra in relation to water. You should speak to your water retailer for further information about this. |
