The length of the transition period will depend on the location of sites and the maturity of your local environment. It’s on a case-to-case basis, so it’s best to talk to your Telstra Account Executive to get an estimate on both delivery dates and costs.
Yes. Connected Workplace requires a minimum commitment of 36 months per location.
We offer coverage in most metropolitan areas & selected rural and regional locations.
The eligibility criteria are as simple as the solution - all you need is at least two sites, with at least three employees in each location, and you’re good to go.
If you’re deploying Connected Workplace in an existing office location, we may have to come in to perform a site-readiness assessment. This can result in a reconfiguration of your switches to ensure that the service will run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Our extensive partner network will perform the assessment and the reconfiguration, so you don’t have to.
If you are building or moving into a new office, you’ll need to consider installing a Local Area Network (LAN) with the necessary switches to ensure that there are enough data ports for your needs.
In both cases, we will need access to your communication room for inspection and installation of any requirement.
Additionally, you’ll need a registered domain name to cover your voice services, end-user email, and web security.
We’ve included a soft-phone client in the Connected Workplace package, but you can also choose to purchase an IP phone at an additional charge. We’re offering two models: the Polycom VVX411 and the Polycom VVX501.
