Things you need to know

  • Service not available to all areas, homes or customers
  • A $192 charge may apply for a standard professional installation by Telstra.
  • Limited time offer for new Foxtel and home broadband customers: Offer only available to new Telstra home broadband customers who haven’t had a Foxtel service within the last 3 months. Additional charges may apply for professional installation or non-standard installation.
  • T-Box and Foxtel on T-Box requires a suitable TV and high speed Telstra home broadband
  • National calls to standard fixed line numbers excludes some usage such as calls to premium numbers (e.g. 19xx numbers), 1234 and 12456 numbers.
  • A 49c call connection fee applies to calls where a per min rate is charged.
  • Satellite numbers are not standard mobiles
  • Your home phone and broadband service must be connected at the same physical address
  • Family calls benefit – if you have an Ultimate Plan, New Ultimate Plan or Ultimate II Plan, calls from your mobile service are not included
  • Mobile bundle bonus – eligible mobiles are mobiles on a Next G Cap, Freedom Connect, Every Day Connect or Telstra No Lock-In plan that does not include unlimited calls to standard Australian numbers
  • Foxtel from Telstra: Nonstandard installation may be more. A HD recordable device is not a HD subscription. You must have a HD recordable device and HD TV in order to subscribe to the HD tier.

Data top up: Available on ADSL, Cable, Velocity and NBN home broadband.

  • The 3 Top-Ups, are valid until 31 December. New Home Broadband customers can have 3 Top-Ups from the date they sign up until 31 December 2014.
  • The Top-Up amount will be 100% of your plan allowance. For example, if your’e on a 50GB Broadband plan you’ll receive a 50GB Top-Up.
  • Unused Top-Ups don't carry over into the next year, and expire at the end of the billing cycle
  • Top-Ups will only unshape your account if you have exceeded your data allowance – not if you are shaped due to Credit Management.

In areas serviced by the NBN, Telstra may be required to connect services onto the NBN. Once you are connected to the NBN, you won’t able to move to our copper network. 

Our standard installation involves self installation and has minimum eligibility requirements.

$50 welcome credit

  1. To get the $50 credit you must sign up for a full fixed line home phone service with us. The $50 credit is not available if you have a Telstra Home Phone Budget, Telstra Voice Part, Telstra Voice Complete or Telstra Voice Light service. 
  2. It may take up to the third bill after your move is completed for the $50 credit to be applied.
