Terms and Conditions

 

General

1) This is a promotional code and is not for resale, has no cash value, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.  Valid only for Apple Music in Australia. Requires iTunes account. Terms and Apple Privacy Policy apply; see the applicable terms for your country at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/ . Must be 13+ and in the country that matches the store front on which you are redeeming the code. Compatible products and services required.

2) In these terms and conditions, “you” and “your” mean the customer and “we”, “us” and “our” means Telstra Corporation Limited.

3) You must agree to these terms and conditions to take up the Telstra Offer including the terms of our Privacy Policy

4) In addition, you must also agree to the Apple Music terms and conditions.

5) You consent to receiving SMS communication from Apple about Apple Music.

6) Apple Music and any customer or technical support issues are the responsibility of Apple.

7) We may change these terms and conditions (including our Privacy Policy) at any time unless we think it is it is to your detriment in which case we will give you reasonable written notice.

8) Apple Music is for personal, non- commercial use only.

 

Telstra Offers

9) Offer is redeemable once per customer and for individual subscribers only. The offer is not available to active family or student Apple Music memberships.

10) From time to time, we may make offers available to eligible Telstra Customers with a compatible device (“Telstra Offer”) for a period of time (“Trial Period”).

11) Once your offer period ends, you will be automatically charged an $11.99/month membership by Apple. This will be via the payment method attached to your Apple ID. You can cancel anytime following the steps under 18) Termination and Expiry of Subscription Period.

12) Any charges as a result of activating or subscribing to Apple Music after the Telstra Period will be payable to Apple via the payment details linked to your Apple ID.

13) If you have additional SIM’s linked to your Telstra account, any additional data usage for those SIM’s may count towards your own data usage.

14) Apple Music is a product of Apple. We are offering eligible customers a 6 month Apple Music offer from Telstra. We do not make any promises or assurances to you about Apple Music generally or the performance or functionality of Apple Music.

 

Activating your Telstra Offer

15) If you are an iOS user:

  • You sign onto an eligible plan
  • Over the next few days, you will receive an SMS with a link to ‘Redeem Now’
  • You must have an existing Apple ID or create a new Apple ID
  • You click on the redemption link
  • You have now redeemed your 6 month Apple Music offer from Telstra.


Existing Apple Music Members

16) If you are an Android user:

  • You sign onto an eligible plan
  • Over the next few days, you will receive an SMS with a link to ‘Redeem Now’
  • You download Apple Music app from the Google Play store
  • You must have an existing Apple ID or create a new Apple ID
  • You click on the redemption link
  • You have now redeemed your 6 month Apple Music offer from Telstra.


Existing Apple Music Members

17) If you have an active Apple Music 3 month in-market offer through Apple, your 6 month Apple Music offer from Telstra will be added on top of your existing trial from Apple.

18) Membership offer is for new Telstra Apple Music customers only. If you have previously taken up an Apple Music from Telstra offer on a personal plan, you are not eligible to redeem the 6 month Apple Music from Telstra offer on your small business plan.


Termination and expiry of Offer Period

19) You may terminate your Telstra Offer at any time by cancelling your subscription (for IOS users) or turning off auto-renewal (for Android users)

iOS
Settings> ITunes & App Store > View Apple ID > Subscriptions > Cancel Subscription

Android:

Open the Apple Music app > Account > Manage Membership > Turn off auto-renewal

If you terminate the Telstra Offer during the Trial, you can continue using Apple music until the end of your offer period. After this, you will not rolled onto a paid subscription with Apple.


Data Free Music streaming

20) Streaming music on Apple Music on the Telstra Mobile Network is data free. Non-music streaming use such as downloads, video streaming and social interaction will attract data charges. Telstra FairPlay Policy applies. For use in Australia.
