Telstra Application Licence Agreement


Telstra provides this app subject to the terms and conditions below, terms of use and privacy policy. By using the app, you accept all those terms.


Telstra grants you a non-transferable license to use the app.


Purpose of the app

The app enables Telstra Consumer customers to view and manage the services linked to their Telstra ID.


To access the full features of the app, you'll need to sign in to an active service associated with your Telstra ID. You can use the app without signing in, but you’ll have limited functionality.


Keep your phone safe

The app uses a secure connection to help keep your details protected, but while you're signed in to the app, anyone with access to your phone can view the information in the app. We suggest setting a PIN in the app and a PIN or password on your phone to protect your information.


Usage information in the app

Usage and charges displayed in the app are estimates only. It may take up to 48 hours to update and display your usage and charges.


Use of location information

The app may make use of your location for a range of purposes, including to help you locate Telstra stores and for Telstra to communicate directly with you through the app and as described in the Location permissions screens you see when you first download the app or when there’s an app update.  You can choose whether you allow your location to be used for these purposes.  You can also stop this use by turning off location-based services for the app in the Settings section of your device.


Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in this app belong to us or our licensors. You mustn't do anything with the app which is not expressly authorised under these terms and conditions.


Google, Smart Lock and Android are trade marks of Google, Inc.


App provided "as is"

This app is provided "as is". While we will use reasonable care in providing the app to you, we can't guarantee that the app will always be free from faults. We don't make any warranties about this app or your use of it. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability arising from or in connection with this app.


We are responsible for the app (not Google). Google has no obligation to provide support for the app or to address any claims relating to the app.


Crash reporting and performance management

The app uses functionality provided by Crashlytics, Inc. to monitor the performance of the app and to report app crashes or other performance issues. To do so, the app may from time to time send app performance information, device model information and crash data to Crashlytics, who hold that information on our behalf. No personal or account information is transmitted to or accessed by Crashlytics. For more information about Crashlytics, visit crashlytics.com.



The app uses Google Maps for the Find Us and Telstra Device Locator features.  Your use of these features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service at https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps.html and Google Privacy Policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.


Google Chrome Smart lock for Passwords

Google Smart Lock is a service provided by Google which allows you to store usernames and passwords, making it easier for you to log in without having to re-enter your username and password when using your Chrome and Android devices. If you choose to use Smart Lock, then your use of Smart Lock is Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, as well as its API Terms of Service.


Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
