Today Telstra launched the new Samsung Galaxy Book, bringing together the power and functionality of a laptop with the convenience and portability of a tablet.
The 2-in-1 device which comes in two sizes – 10.6” and 12” – features HD display for a stunning content viewing experience, as well as a powerful 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processor
(12” variant) or 7th Gen Intel® Core™ m3 processor (10.6” variant), for seamless workflow and multitasking capability.
“The Samsung Galaxy Book is the ultimate tablet that will seamlessly take our customers from work to leisure,” said Kevin Teoh, Director Post-Paid Mobility, Telstra Consumer and Small Business.
“With fast, reliable streaming on Australia’s largest and fastest mobile network (based on national average combined 3G/4G mobile speeds), our customers can enjoy their favourite music and video content during their commute, or take part in a video conference with less buffering on-the-go.”
With up to 9 hours of usage in a single charge (10.6” variant) or up to 11 hours (12” variant), as well as a sim-enabled feature with CAT 6 LTE capability, the Samsung Galaxy Book is the perfect device for content streaming and video conferencing on-the-go.
The tablet includes a versatile keyboard cover that connects on contact for seamless switching between touch and type, as well as a redefined S Pen for picture and design creation with the familiar feel of a real pen.
Customers who take up a Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6” on a $45 Go Mobile Data Plus Plan or My Business Mobile Data Plan will pay $80/month with 10GB data, with a minimum total cost of $1920 for 24 months (data for use in Australia).
Telstra consumer and business mobile customers can also enjoy access to unlimited Wi-Fi at over one million Telstra Air hotspots around Australia and 20 million Fon hotspots worldwide and every AFL, NRL and netball game this year.
