Internet
BigPond is an award-winning Internet service provider.
Access to the Internet can basically be broken up into two types.
What is Broadband?
Broadband is super-fast internet access you can use for home or business. Because it’s ‘always on’,^ it will never tie up your phone line.*
Want Broadband for your home or business?
There are 4 basic types of Broadband - have a read then choose the one that suits you:
- ADSL: A single wire that connects to existing phone outlets without affecting your phone line. Available in most urban locations.
- Cable: Shares the same cable as your Foxtel/Pay TV, without affecting those services. Perfect if you’re already a Foxtel subscriber or in a cable-ready household.
- Satellite: A satellite delivered service for users in more remote locations.
- Wireless: Gives you the freedom to connect wirelessly across Australia. That means coverage to 98% of the Australian population.
