What's happening to Foxtel from Telstra?

From 01 February 2024, Telstra will temporarily stop selling Foxtel from Telstra until further notice. We will continue to support existing Foxtel from Telstra customers.

    Why is my Foxtel package changing?

    On 1 February 2024, Foxtel introduced a new pricing and packaging structure and made the decision to close its existing packages.

    From 1 March 2024, all Foxtel from Telstra customers will be moved to the Platinum package.

    The Platinum package includes access to all of Foxtel’s standard subscription channels.

    Depending on your current plan, there may be an increase to how much you’re charged each month.

    What if I don’t want to change packages?

    If you don’t want to move to the Platinum package you’ll need to contact us to cancel your Foxtel from Telstra service.

    If you choose to cancel your service, one of our experts will advise if you need to return your Foxtel IQ box.

    When will the price changes happen?

    Your service has already been updated to receive Platinum content.

    Price updates will start in April, but depending on your billing cycle, changes may not appear on your bill until June.

    Frequently asked questions

    There won’t be any changes to the inclusions in your current package. There may be a change to your monthly plan charge.

    If there are any pricing changes, we’ll send communications by email from 7 March 2024 with the details of those changes.

    Contact Foxtel directly to subscribe to a new package.

    Your discount won’t change. You’ll continue to receive the discount on your package until the specified end date of the discount.

    There won’t be any changes while your service is suspended. We’ll contact you about any changes once your service is resumed.

    There may be a price increase for one or both of your services depending on your current package.

    If your service packages are impacted by these changes, we’ll send communications by email from 7 March 2024 with the details of those changes.

    At this stage there won’t be any changes to your service bundle.

    You can continue to use your Foxtel from Telstra service at your new address, contact us to arrange your move.
