Testing Checklist (XLS, 27KB)The Testing Checklist provides a summary of the main standards that developers and producers need to follow. Whilst the actual standards provide more detail, this checklist provides a quick listing of the most important rules and requirements that developers and producers must adhere to. For each web development project, the producer will be using this checklist as part of the testing process on Apollo, so developers should do the same. This checklist will also assist in training new developers, allowing them get across Telstra's key standards quickly.

A how-to guide for using Telstra's quick, easy, accessible popup code.
Flash banner development (FLA, 22KB)
Firstly, download and open the template banner_example.fla file. Make sure you leave the invisible button layer as the top layer so that it is present for the duration of the banner. Then you can create the banner as per usual, making sure there is no Action Script pointing the user to a website. If the design requires a Call to Action button, make sure that it changes state when rolled over, but DOES NOT direct the user anywhere - the invisible button layer will do this. To complete this task, just save the file and export the movie using Action Script 2.
Flash Alternate Image Banner for Tutorials and Demonstrations (JPG, 20KB)

Flash Accessibility Instructions (DOC, 408KB)

Sample Flash Loading Animation (SWF, 1KB)
A loading animation (ie. a progress indicator) must be included if the Flash component of a page is over 15KB. This should load immediately and inform the user graphically of the progress of the download process. This sample animation can be used by developers (unless a particular alternate design is required). To use, copy and paste the first two frames into your presentation, with the actual animation / presentation starting on frame 3.
