Using E-Mail on your iPhone 3G

I am having Trouble with my e-mail on my iPhone 3G

E-Mail support

For BigPond users please follow the below steps to setup your email account:

On your iPhone 3G tap settings from the home screen,
Then tap “mail”
Then tap “add account”
Select “other”
Tap on “POP” at the top of the screen
The iPhone 3G will list the fields below please type in the relevant information in each field.
Name – Your Name
Address – Your Email address
Description - Your Email address

Incoming mail server
Host Name - mail.bigpond.com
User Name - Your Email address
Password – Your email account password

Outgoing mail server
Host Name – mail.bigpond.com
User Name – leave this field blank
Password - leave this field blank

Tap save in the top right corner once the fields have been completed.
A message box will pop up saying “The certificate for mail.bigpond.com is not valid” please tap on “continue” when this message appears.
After a while another message will pop up saying “The email could not be setup with SSL” please tap on “try without”.
