Capturing and Sending a Video Message
Video messages are just like picture and text messages and work exactly the same way in terms of sending, receiving, and storing. The only difference is that you can send a video as your message and receive video messages from other people with compatible mobiles. They can also be sent to any email address worldwide or to any other picture messaging capable phone.
To create and send a video message, first activate the phone’s camera and select the ‘video’ mode.
To capture your video message press ‘record’ and then ‘stop’ to end recording.
Once you’ve recorded your video message, attach the video file to a new message and press ‘Send’.
Video messages can be sent to other video messaging compatible mobiles or to any compatible email address.
If a recipient does not have a mobile phone that supports video messaging, a text message will be sent advising them how to view the message via the Internet.
When & Why to Use Video Messaging
Anytime is a good time to send a Video Message – especially when words just aren’t enough:
- Like when you want show your loved ones that you arrived safely;
- Or to show your boss that you are really stuck in traffic and not on the golf course;
- Or to show someone how to do something rather than just tell them.
A video message can often get the point across better than a voice message. Sometimes an expression or a simple smile says it better than all the words in the world.
Video messages are also far more personal and enable you to share special moments with the important people in your life when they can’t be there in person.
And the best part is, they can enjoy your message over and over again and even save it to replay days later.
