Available to all NEW customers who connected on or after 10 February 2012.
All other customers with BigPond MyInbox will be updated to BigPond Email with Windows Live® during 2012.
Not sure if you are on the BigPond Email with Windows Live service? Log in to your email account to check.

Once you have BigPond Email with Windows Live you can:

  • tap into SkyDrive® online storage for your photos and documents
  • adjust, retouch, edit and organise your photos with Windows Live Photo Gallery1
  • bring your videos to life with Windows Live Movie Maker1
  • update your contacts all in one place, including Facebook® and other social networks
  • be productive anytime, using Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint® and Excel® in Microsoft® Office Web Apps
  • stay in touch with family and friends using Windows Live Messenger.

You don’t need to do anything right now. When your account is ready, we’ll send you an email explaining what you need to do to update.

Accessing your email

You can use your favourite browser to access BigPond Email with Windows Live. If you use an email client, such as Microsoft® Outlook, you will need to update your email settings.

Here are the new settings for smartphones. When you are asked for a Windows Live ID/Hotmail ID, enter your BigPond/Telstra username and password.

If you signed up to an eligible broadband service from 10 February 2012: You won't be able to view or synchronise your contacts and calendar information created on the T-Hub, in your BigPond Email, with your Windows Live account (and vice versa). Your contacts and calendar information will continue to be backed up on the Telstra network.
