Telstra brings Australia's largest and fastest 3GSM mobile network to your laptop, PDA and mobile phone via the Next G™ network.
Whether you need to access the internet for on-the-spot information, use email and download files, or connect with the office, the Telstra Next G network gives you freedom and flexibility on the move. With average broadband speeds of 550Kbps to 1.5Mbps¹ you'll be able to access what you need and fast.
Straight from your mobile phone
With a Next G mobile, you can jump online anytime (providing you're
within coverage). The
My Place menu helps you navigate a wide range of sites especially
tailored for mobile browsing or you can just type a web address in
the address bar.
You can access the internet on a pay-as-you-go basis or subscribe to one of our Browsing Packs for more frequent web browsing.
Connecting your mobile to a laptop
Many Next G mobile phones come packaged with a USB data cable or Bluetooth® wireless technology. This may allow you to use your phone as a modem and browse the web at broadband speeds via a laptop.
BigPond® Wireless Broadband
With BigPond Wireless Broadband, you can experience true mobile internet access with one of our plug-in and go mobile cards. Or, access wireless broadband wherever there's a power point with one of our wireless modems.

With all BigPond Wireless Broadband plans, you get:
- the ability to move to a higher or lower plan, free of charge
- 24/7 technical support
- 1 mailbox per account (additional mailboxes are available from $1.00 per month up to a maximum of 15 mailboxes in total)
- free network anti-virus and anti-spam security
- 20MB storage space on both BigPond Photos and BigBlog™
