Call Waiting alerts you if someone else is trying to call you when you are on the phone. You can put your current caller on hold and take the incoming call. You can also switch between callers.

If you don't want to take the call, ignore the Call Waiting tone which stops after 20 seconds. You could use one of our messaging services to deal with the unanswered call instead, such as MessageBank®, Memo, or Call Back Notification.

Call Enquiry allows you to make an outgoing call on your mobile phone while you're already on a call (only available with GSM or Next G™ mobile phones). Your original call is placed on hold while you call the other number. You can also switch between calls.

You can talk to up to five other parties simultaneously if you have a GSM or Next G™ mobile phone.

How am I charged?

• normal call costs apply, so Call Enquiry and Conference Calls are listed as call charges on your itemised bill

• you may see two calls for the same time period - this occurs when you make Call Enquiry and Conference Calls

• calls are only charged if they are answered.

Calling Number Display shows the number of the caller on your mobile phone handset (unless their number is blocked). This feature is only available for calls made from Australia. When you forward a call to a fixed or mobile phone, you will now see the caller's number instead of the forwarding number, except if the caller has their Call Line Identification (CLI) display barred.

Calling Number Display also enables your mobile phone number to be transmitted when you make a call to another mobile phone or fixed phone (unless it is blocked).

This feature has now been extended to include international calls, so your phone number can also be displayed to calls overseas. If you currently have permanent blocking on your phone, this feature also applies to calls made to people overseas. If you want Calling Number Display removed (free of charge), please follow the options below:

Permanent Block

If you wish to block your number on a permanent basis (for all calls from your phone), call 125 111.

Call by Call Block

If you would like to block your number on a call by call basis simply enter #31# and then the number you are calling.

Calling Number Display is automatically connected free of charge on your mobile phone.

To check if your phone is showing incoming numbers:

• Press *#30# Send. A message appears on your screen if your mobile is showing the phone numbers of callers to your phone.

To check if your number is being shown to a person you are calling:

• Press *#31# Send. A message appears on your screen if your mobile number is being sent when you call.
