Data Packs and Plans
International Roaming Data Plans
International Roaming Data Plans are a great way of connecting to mobile email, using data applications on your mobile device and accessing the internet on your computer when you are overseas. With these plans, you simply pay a monthly access fee and gain a monthly allowance to use towards included data usage on your eligible Telstra Post-paid mobile or Telstra Mobile Broadband services in selected countries.
Your options are:
$29 per month, which includes a data allowance of 10MB (charged per KB or part) which equates to $150 worth of included data to use in selected destinations per month
- Ideal for mobile handsets
$160 per month, which includes a data allowance of 60MB (charged per KB or part) which equates to $900 worth of included data to use in selected destinations per month
- Ideal for wireless broadband cards

Like our International Roaming Data Plans, the Data Pack options are:
$29 - which includes a data allowance of 10MB (charged per KB or part) which equates to $150 worth of included data to use in selected countries for 30 days - Ideal for mobile handsets
$160 - which includes a data allowance of 60MB (charged per KB or part) which equates to $900 worth of included data to use in selected countries for 30 days
International Roaming Data Packs are only available to customers with a 13 digit account number.

The International Roaming Data Plans are available with Telstra Mobile Broadband services or eligible Telstra post-paid mobile plans. Whereas the International Roaming Data Packs are available with eligible Telstra post-paid mobile plans for customers with a 13 digit account number. In addition to the monthly plan/pack charge, you will be charged a 50c fee for each separate data session initiated from your device. If you take-up or cancel your International Roaming Data plan part-way through a billing month, your monthly plan charge and included data allowance for that month will be pro-rated according to the days the plan was active in that month. Excess usage beyond the included allowance or excluded data usage will incur applicable International Roaming data PAYG charges. Data plans offered for use in Australia do not include International Roaming data usage. International Roaming data charges are substantially higher than domestic data charges.
