International Roaming Data Packs and Plans
We offer International Roaming Data Packs and Plans. If you have a Telstra post-paid mobile or Telstra Mobile Broadband (excluding BigPond® Mobile Broadband), these packs and plans are a great way to send and receive email, access apps, news, sport and social networks while overseas. International Roaming Data Packs
International Roaming Data Packs are ideal for infrequent travellers and holiday makers.
For a one-off charge, International Roaming Data Packs give you an allowance towards connection, access and data usage in selected countries (see below) for 30 days after the pack is applied to your service. You can choose from the following International Roaming Data Packs:

International Roaming Data Plans
International Roaming Data Plans are ideal for frequent overseas travellers. With these plans, you simply pay an additional monthly fee to receive a monthly allowanceto use towards connection, access and data usage in selected countries (see below).
You can choose from the following International Roaming Data Plans:

International Roaming data pay as you go (PAYG) charges
- Without an International Roaming Data Pack or Data Plan, your PAYG rate for International Roaming data is $0.015 per KB ($15.36 per MB). In addition, there is a 50 cent connection fee for each data session initiated by your device. For example, at PAYG rates, using 50MB of data with one session would cost $769.

International Roaming Browse Plus Packs – Telstra Pre-Paid Services
International Roaming Browse Plus Packs are a great addition to your Pre-Paid service. Whether you want to check the weather, book accommodation online or check your emails, an International Roaming Browse Plus Pack will help you get in touch when you are travelling overseas. These packs are available in a selection of countries where international roaming is available.
Simply choose the International Roaming Browse Plus Pack that suits your needs.

The included data allowance for International Roaming Browse Plus Packs cannot be used in Australia.
Once your International Roaming Browse Plus Pack runs out or if you don't select an International Roaming Browse Plus Pack or you roam in a country not listed below, the Pay As You Go rate will apply. The Pay As You Go Rate is 1.5c per kB and is charged in 1kB blocks.

Things you need to know
- Pre-Paid International Roaming Browse Plus Pack credits can only be used when roaming overseas in selected countries and cannot be used in Australia. Content request charges are excluded. There may be a delay of up to 42 hours for MMS charges to reach your account.
- Mobile phone features and capabilities can differ from network to network. Please check your phone's user guide. Although we’ve enabled services with services provider(s) in the countries you’re visiting, we can’t guarantee mobile services will be available at all times
- The International Roaming Data Packs and Data Plans are available to customers with eligible Telstra post-paid mobile and Telstra Mobile Broadband plans(excludes BigPond® Mobile Broadband).
- The included allowance is consumed at the International Roaming data Pay As You Go (PAYG) rate including per kB and connection fees.
- If you take-up or cancel your International Roaming Data Plan part-way through a billing month, your monthly plan charge and included data allowance for that month will be pro-rated according to the days the plan was active in that month. View more
- Excess usage over the included allowance, or excluded data usage, will incur applicable International Roaming data Pay As You Go (PAYG) charges
- Data included with your mobile plan or data plans offered for use in Australia doesn’t include International Roaming data usage.
- International Roaming data charges are substantially higher than domestic data charges
- The included allowance for International Roaming Data Plans or Data Packs can only be used when roaming overseas in selected countries and can’t be used in Australia or for content requests or charges.
- Mobile phone features and capabilities can differ from network to network. Please check your phone's user guide. Although we’ve enabled services with services provider(s) in the countries you’re visiting, we can’t guarantee mobile services will be available at all times.
- International roaming information and pricing is subject to change due to the nature of International Roaming. Information is likely to change due to exchange rate fluctuations. International Roaming calls made and received are GST free.
- Calls to the International Roaming Helpdesk +61439125109 on a Telstra mobile while roaming overseas are charged at a flat fee (22.73 cents GST-free for Post Paid and maximum 50c GST- free for Pre Paid), calls to the International Roaming Helpdesk from a non-Telstra device or telephone service will incur normal international telephone charges. Calls to Telstra Customer Service on 12 5109 (or 12 5111) on a Telstra mobile from within Australia are 25c (GST inclusive).
