How Client to Site IPSec VPN Software
enables Virtual Private Networking (VPN)
Telstra Client to Site IPSec VPN enables secure access from
the public internet into your IP solutions network.
Client to Site IPSec VPN provides external access via the
internet by employing tunnelling technologies with standards
based security mechanisms and protocols 7.35(IPSec).
This capability enables you to securely access your private
network resources via the public internet and extend your
private network to mobile devices.
With Telstra IPSec VPN you can roam nationally and internationally (in selected countries) using Internet Service Provider (ISP) connections.
In order to utilise Telstra Client to Site IPSec VPN you need
to have a connection between your company's Telstra IP Solution
and Telstra Internet Direct via the Telstra Internet gateway
package. People within your Telstra IP Solutions network will
be able to access the internet, as well as allow secure inbound
connections for your company's authorised roaming users.
The total number of concurrent Client to Site IPSec VPN sessions
is based upon the number of tunnel terminations which your
company leases from Telstra. Each user establishes a session
via a username and password, and is allocated a Private IP
address from your Telstra IP Solution pool.
