Sending faxes with Telecard®
- switch your fax to manual transmission mode (ie. disable the facility that stores the document in memory before dialling the number)
- dial 18918 (or FREECALL™ 1800 051 818¹ as an alternative) or the number appropriate to the country you are visiting
- enter a series of pauses (approximately 7-8 or 4-6 in the form of commas depending on modem speed)
- enter your eight digit Telecard number and four digit PIN followed by #
- again enter a series of pauses (approximately 7-8)
- if faxing from overseas you must press 1. Again enter a series of pauses (approximately 4-5)
- to send faxes in Australia, enter the fax number, including the area code, followed by #
- to send faxes overseas, start with 0015, not 0011. Alternatively, you can use the Abbreviated Dialling feature of Last Number Redial feature
- after you hear your fax connection tone, activate your fax to send
