  1. Do I need an existing Telstra account to link with my Telecard®?
    Yes, you need an existing Telstra phone account.

  2. Can I restrict the types of calls that can be made on my Telecard?
    You can limit your Telecard calls to calls within Australia, or to just five specific numbers (either National or International) using the Call Control Feature.

  3. Can I order a Telecard for other members of my family?
    Yes, as the lessee of a phone service, you can order as many as you like. However as lessee you will be liable for payment of all calls linked to your account if the cardholder fails to pay.

  4. Do the Telstra Telecard calls appear in a separate section on my bill?
    Yes, all Telstra Telecard calls are itemised on your nominated Telstra account and, if you have more than one Telecard on your account, they are grouped by together for each Telecard linked to the account.

  5. What usage rates am I charged?
    Please refer to the Telecard Fees & Charges booklet for current pricing.

  6. Can I use my Telstra Telecard to make calls in only Australia or can I use it to make calls between eg. London and New York?
    Telstra Telecard has the Global Reach (Third Country Calling) feature which can be used to call within and between more than 30 overseas countries.

  7. Can I make a Telstra Telecard call from a mobile phone?
    Yes.

  8. How do I cancel my Telstra Telecard?
    You may cancel your Telecard by calling FREECALL™ 1800 038 000 whilst in Australia, or by making a reverse charge call to 61 3 9632 6062 whilst overseas. If you notify us by telephone, the Telecard will be cancelled immediately. If you notify us in writing, the Telecard will be cancelled within two days of us receiving your written notice.

  9. What should I do if I am having difficulties with my Telstra Telecard?
    If you are having difficulties with your Telecard, please call the Telecard Customer Service Centre on FREECALL™ 1800 038 000 whilst in Australia, or by reverse charge call to 61 3 9632 6062 whilst overseas.

  10. What do I do if my Telstra Telecard is lost or stolen?
    If your Telecard is lost or stolen you should immediately call the Telecard Customer Service Centre on FREECALL™ 1800 038 000 whilst in Australia, or by reverse charge call to 61 3 9632 6062 whilst overseas.
