Making a Call
In Australia...
- Dial 1300 654 603. ¹(A 1300 call charge of 27.5c applies when calling from Telstra fixed phones. Standard payphone charges for making a local call apply when calling from Telstra public payphones (coins required). No connection fee is charged. Applicable mobile phone charges for calls to a 1300 number apply in addition to Say G'day™ service charges.
- Select from one of the language options (press 1 for English).
- Enter your 12-digit Say G'day calling card number.
- Listen to hear your remaining credit.
- Enter the telephone number you wish to call including the area code (even for local calls) followed by the # key. To call overseas dial 0011, then enter the country code, area code and the number you wish to call followed by the # key.
- You will hear a beep when your remaining credit is low.
Say G'day calling cards cannot be used to make calls to 1900, 1900, 0500 or operator-assisted calls or calls from pre-paid mobiles.
Things you need to know
1 Alternatively the 1800 099 032 convenience number can be used and an additional charge of 10c per minute applies for all timed calls. Timed calls from Australia are charged in 60 second blocks. Applicable mobile phone charges for calls to the 1300 or 1800 number apply in addition to Say G'day service charges.
