Charging an amount to a Major Credit Card
You can add value to your PhoneAway® card by charging an amount to a Major Credit Card over the telephone or online.
To add value over the telephone:
- Dial 18933¹ or 1800 150 117
- Select from one of the language options (press 1 for English).
- Enter your PhoneAway card number.
- Select the options menu by entering * 1.
- Dial * 4 for credit card top up.
- Then follow the remaining instructions.
Things you need to know
1 A free call from most fixed phones and Telstra mobile phones within Australia (excluding Telstra prepaid mobiles which cannot be used to make a PhoneAway call using the 18933 access number).
Important note
- You can add value to your PhoneAway card in amounts of $10, $15, $20, $25, $30 or $50 over the telephone or online.
- Credit card top up is restricted to the use of one designated credit card of your choice for each PhoneAway calling card. You cannot alternate between different credit cards for future credit card top up transactions.
- You can only add value up to $100 in one day, have no more than $200 value on your card at any time, and no more than $1,000 over the life of the card.
