Device description
The BlackBerry® Pearl 8100 is among the world’s smallest smartphones. However, the device punches well above its weight with its inbuilt digital camera, expandable memory and multimedia capabilities.
Of course, it provides all the traditional BlackBerry® features, including extensive access to corporate data2 and wireless email, mobile web browsing, SMS, MMS and instant messaging (using popular applications like Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk) and a range of advanced organiser applications – making it the perfect combination of brains and beauty.
Other features include a half QWERTY-style keyboard, speakerphone, voice-activated dialling and dedicated send, end and mute keys. It includes a sophisticated media player for watching video and playing music, a 1.3 mega-pixel camera with built-in zoom and flash and mapping and route-finder technology. It also has 64MB of inbuilt memory expandable via MicroSD card, Bluetooth capability and a high-resolution, light-sensing screen.
