Things you need to know
† Where there is a clear, wide and direct line of sight between your handset and the sky. The quality of service may be affected by the prevailing atmosphere and surrounding environment. In particular, reception is limited by a narrow view of the sky, if, for example, you use a satellite phone under thick canopy cover, in a narrow gorge or where there is a concentration of tall buildings.
The term 'Australia' includes up to 200 nautical miles out to sea and all Australian external territories except Antarctica.
