CDMA network closure
With the introduction of our high-speed Next G™ network, Telstra has closed down the CDMA network as of 28 April 2008. Although CDMA devices no longer work, CDMA customers can upgrade to the Next G™ network, Australia’s largest and fastest national mobile network. Plus if CDMA customers upgrade before 26 May 2008, they may keep their existing mobile number(s).
