With the introduction of our high-speed Next G™ network the Federal Government approved the closure of the CDMA network on April 28, 2008.
The CDMA network was used to provide 1xEVDO mobile data services, and therefore after April 28 2008, your EV-DO/1xRTT service/s will be disconnected and your CDMA mobile broadband devices will no longer work.

The Next G™ network now provides the same or better coverage than the old 1xEVDO network. Like any other mobile network, mobile broadband coverage may vary due to congestion, distance from the cell, local conditions, hardware, software and other factors.
