Mobile Broadband downloads

Telstra Universal Connection Manager
The Universal Connection Manager (UCM) is the administrative application for your mobile broadband service. It will provide you with a range of additional features including:
- International roaming pop up messages – when roaming overseas you will receive messages advising you of the volume of data you have used while overseas
- Access news, weather, sport and music
- Access to online directories such as Yellow Pages and White Pages.
- Links to Whereis maps and City search.
The UCM supports our wide range of mobile broadband devices, including the new Telstra USB 4G and prepaid services. Please refer to the section below for more details.
Full installation download instructions
Using your Plug and Play USB device, install the current connection manager on the device and access the internet.
- Windows® Installation: Step 1 Create a folder called Telstra Mobile Broadband in your C:/ drive
Step 2 Download the Universal Connection Manager (ZIP, 33.3MB) to your C:/ drive
Step 3 Unzip the file into a directory called Telstra Mobile Broadband. You can do this by using Windows Explorer and right clicking on the file. Select Extract all
Step 4 Click Next
Step 5 Check that the folder name is c:\Telstra Mobile Broadband
Step 6 Check the box Show extracted files
Step 7 Once you have extracted the ZIP file, go to where you extracted it to (in the Telstra Mobile Broadband directory) and double click on setup.exe. This will then start the step-by-step installation of Telstra Mobile Broadband - Mac Installation: Step 1 Download the Universal Connection Manager (ZIP, 11.5MB)
Step 2 Select System Preferences on the Apple menu
Step 3 Select Software Update
Step 4 Choose Update Now or Check Now We recommend that you restart your computer once you have installed the Universal Connection Manager. System requirements are Mac 10.5.8 and above.
Please note the following devices support the Universal Connection Manager:
Telstra USB 4G [Sierra Wireless 320U], Ultimate® USB [Sierra Wireless USB312] or Elite® USB [Sierra Wireless USB 306,308], Turbo USB [ ZTE 633 and 633+ ] devices are Plug and Play devices, so simply plug in the device and follow the instructions.
