Telstra Ultimate® Gateway
Wireless Gateways give you the flexibility to create a mobile broadband network in your office, when your team is on the move, outdoors or working in temporary locations, such as building sites or trade shows. A Wireless Gateway connects to the Telstra Next G® network. It then sets up a Wi-Fi hotspot that several users can log into to obtain access to the internet. Up to 16 Wi-Fi enabled devices can be connected simultaneously.
The Telstra Ultimate® Gateway is the Wireless Gateway device with typical download speeds ranging from 1.1Mbps and 20Mbps in all capital cities and many metropolitan and regional areas1. Up to 16 Wi-Fi enabled devices can be connected simultaneously, as well as four wired devices, such as storage devices and printers. Plus, you can use the USB 2.0 ports to connect and share a USB printer and mass storage device.

It's ideal for reducing excess usage charges across your workplace. If you also have Mobiles connected to Business Mobile Advantage Plans your included data allowance from these users will also contribute to the shared data allowance on the account.

3G Speed and Coverage: 3G HSPA+ and HSPA Network Speeds: With capable devices, typical download speeds are 1.1Mbps–20Mbps in all capital CBDs, airports, much of the associated metropolitan areas and many regional and other locations. Outside these areas, the remaining metropolitan areas and many other regional and rural locations typical download speeds are 550kbps to 8Mbps, and elsewhere 550kbps to 3Mbps. Typical customer upload speeds are 300kbps–3Mbps in all capital cities and major regional areas and elsewhere 300kbps–1Mbps. Actual speeds vary due to factors such as distance from the base station, local terrain, user numbers, hardware and software configuration and download source / upload destination.
