Online Billing Study
December 2008
This study tests the assumption that providing customer bills online produces fewer carbon emissions, and has a lower environmental impact than printing and posting paper bills. Commissioned by Telstra, the study was conducted by leading environmental consultants URS Australia, who used Life Cycle Assessment Analysis to find out under what circumstances this assumption comes good.

A Telstra commissioned study to quantify the environmental benefits of teleworking. The study, a Life Cycle Assessment Analysis, conducted by leading environmental consultants URS Australia, compares the environmental impacts of those teleworking from home to those of office-based workers.
