Hong Kong, 30 March 2009 - Hong Kong's leading mobile operator, CSL Limited, (CSL) today unveiled the commercial launch of Next G, the world's fastest All-IP mobile broadband network. Next G has download speeds up to 21 Mbps and offers the widest coverage providing unrivaled mobility and performance.

At today's launch ceremony, CSL showcased the unprecedented network speed of Next G, as well as new mobile broadband devices. CSL's Next G value proposition is unique in Hong Kong, offering an exciting mix of devices and services for play, work, home and on the go, marketed under the brands - 1O1O and one2free.

Next G is delivered through CSL's fully integrated 2G/3G all-IP SDR (Software Defined Radio) based HSPA+ network, the first of its kind in the world. In January 2009, CSL has been awarded a 4G FD-LTE 2.6Ghz license. The readily upgradeable nature of Next G combined with this additional spectrum means that CSL's has set out a smooth and readily accessible path to 4G or LTE.

Mr. Robbiati added: "Next G network was built in a record of twelve months by our highly experienced engineering team working hand in hand with their Telstra colleagues, a team led by the world's leading telecommunications engineers from around the globe.
