Dr Fiona Wood
Telstra today congratulated Dr Fiona Wood on being named Australian of the Year.Telstra CEO Dr Ziggy Switkowski said Dr Wood, who will head the Telstra Centre for Burns Reconstruction and Rehabilitiation, was an inspirational Australian and worthy recipient of the award.
"Her work following the Bali bombings prompted Telstra to assist in establishing the new burns unit at Royal Perth Hospital," he said.
"We are delighted that Dr Wood's outstanding work and her contribution to the community has been recognised by this award."
