Information in relation to Telstra’s remuneration framework (including information regarding the remuneration strategy and policies and their relationship to Company performance), together with details of the remuneration paid to:
- Board members; and
- senior executives who were the key management personnel of the Company during fiscal 2011,
- can be found in the Remuneration Report which forms part of the Directors’ Report set out in Telstra’s 2011 Annual Report (2011 Remuneration Report).
Each year, the Board reviews the CEO’s performance against agreed measures, broader expectations and other relevant factors. The CEO undertakes a similar exercise in relation to senior management. The results of the CEO's annual performance review of senior management are considered by the Board. The process for evaluating the performance of the CEO and senior executives is discussed in greater detail in the 2011 Remuneration Report (particularly in the context of determining levels of compensation and awards). In fiscal 2011, the performance of the CEO and key management personnel was reviewed in the manner set out in the 2011 Remuneration Report.
