Applications & Ventures Group
Telstra Applications and Ventures Group was established in 2011 to invest in applications and ventures that will grow off next-generation communication platforms such as broadband, mobiles and cloud based services.
The wholly-owned Telstra subsidiary will work with innovators to make the journey to business success easier by drawing on Telstra's engineering and technology experience and providing access to it's networks and markets.
The group's initial focus is on applications supporting e-commerce, health and education services.
Telstra Consumer and Country Wide
Telstra Consumer and Country Wide is responsible for serving customers in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas of Australia. It provides telecommunications products and services, from home and mobile phones and devices, to fixed and wireless internet and Pay TV services. It is also responsible for mass marketing channels including Telstra’s call centres, Telstra online and consumer marketing. With a retail footprint spanning almost 300 branded stores around the country, complemented by a strong network of partner and pre-paid sales channels, Telstra Consumer and Country Wide touches millions of customers each year.

Telstra Business is responsible for serving the unique needs of Australia's small to medium enterprises (SME) with fixed line, mobile and broadband, as well as data and Internet solutions tailored for business.
Telstra Enterprise and Government
Telstra Enterprise & Government (TE&G) is the leading provider of network based solutions and services to enterprise and governments in Australia.
TE&G provides unique and integrated voice, data and mobile services and solutions to around 1,500 enterprise and government customers in Australia, and offer a growing range of differentiated and world-leading products and solutions delivered over the Telstra Next IP™ and Next G™ networks.

Finance & Strategy
Finance & Strategy is responsible for Telstra’s financial support, strategy development and corporate policy functions. They include strategy, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, risk management and assurance, tax, corporate planning, reporting and analysis, investor relations and corporate security and investigations. In addition, Finance & Strategy is responsible for the financial management of the majority of Telstra's fixed assets, including network assets.
Telstra Media
Telstra Media is responsible for managing Telstra end-to-end media capacities including Sensis, BigPond, Trading Post, IPTV, FOXTEL and other content agreements.The consolidation of Telstra’s media business into a single division in 2012 is designed to increase our focus, drive new opportunities and better utilise Telstra’s many media assets.
This includes investing $100 million over four years to upgrade media infrastructure which will help bring to life Telstra’s vision for the connected home and enable Telstra’s enterprise and business customers to more effectively deliver broadcast-quality video streaming services to end-users over any device connected to the internet.

Human Resources is responsible for all our human resources matters including organisational design, implementation of people and culture initiatives, leadership development, talent management, health, safety and the environment, professional development and all employment and remuneration policies.
Legal Services
Legal Services provides operational and strategic legal support and advice across the company, with lawyers from Legal Services serving clients in all strategic and corporate centre business units.
Project New and Customer Experience
The Project New and Customer Experience business unit exists to drive improved customer service and satisfaction outcomes across Telstra. Project New is a company-wide program to simplify Telstra’s business, improve customer service and save unnecessary costs.
Sensis Pty Ltd
Sensis Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary and Australia's leading information resource. Sensis is responsible for our advertising and information services including White Pages®, Yellow Pages™, Whereis® and Citysearch®.

The corporate communications and public affairs portfolio includes media relations, employee communications, social media and online communications, corporate citizenship (including the Telstra Foundation) and external relations.
